Hi! My name is Tiffany. I am 23, married, and a stay at home mommy to 1 "Bow Princess". I have been making bows for a little over 2 years now. I am not the best by no means but I try to learn new things everyday to help me improve on every aspect of the business. The bow business is unlike anything you've ever done. It has its ups and it also has it's downs. There are days you will be so proud of yourself and others you will want to pull out your paper shredder and put every roll of ribbon through it! Let me state this to start. The bow business is not a jump into easily and expect to make enough money to actually quit your job and support yourself! A lot of people think you can make money quick but you can't. The best advice I ever received was, "When starting out making bows, make 300 bows one after another. When you've made all those, throw the first 200 in the trash because you will be so ashamed of those bows later you will want no evidence that they existed!" My first thought was No way! I am not throwing away precious ribbon that I paid for! But she my friends was right! I posted those bows one after another when I finished them and within a couple months I was so embarrassed I didn't even want people to know I had been making bows. So I went back at it. The main thing to remember in the "business" of bow making is NEVER GIVE UP! I know that sounds so cliche but you HAVE to have that mentality because it's not always easy. It is very time and money consuming. So with that said I want to tell you the whole reason for my starting this blog is to try and help people to get started. Lend you some tips now and again, show you some techniques that will help you, give you some tutorials to some things that you would normally have to pay for that I can offer for free, and be here for moral support as funny as that may seem but trust me... You will soon understand why I say that. So with that said I will go ahead and start working on some things for you. Please stop by from time to time and check out what new stuff may be here. If you guys have any questions about something, ask and if there is a particular item you hope to see a tutorial for throw the idea out there and I will see what I can do! I hope you guys have a blessed day and hope to hear from you all soon! ---Bow Momma Tiffany
